Subject:[Chrysler300] Electric washer pump adapter, V3 for 300F

FYI,

This is a new kit to put a V3 micro switch on the back of a 300F wiper switch instead of the vacuum switch; it can also repair or replace the white “washer switch” block , on the back of the G and H wiper switch , maybe others ; those  using a black push button to wash the windows, located in the center of the wiper speed knob.

The kit includes a new machined  black button, longer fiberglass rod (longer than other “repair button”  kit),  a Honeywell V3 microswitch  with a machined bracket , and hardware .

While we all love the 300F Trico pulse setup , (cool GM thing?) it is also nice to have water reliably come out when you want to clean the window  ; use this kit with any Mopar tank and pump or aftermarket parts . 61,62 had this stock.

See picture supplied with kit;

Remove the 6/32 nut holding the old switch setup to wiper switch body , , assemble the V3 to the aluminum bracket with 4/40 screws , placing plunger of switch over the hole for the rod; push on the supplied two 6” leads, to Com and NO .250 pins on switch  ; one goes to your new pump, the other to a source of 12v. One of the wiper switch harness pins is the power feed and can supply that (see car wiring, locate power feed to switch) or to any easily accessible 12 v source with a fuse , like radio etc . attach bracket with same nut , centered over rod hole .

The rod should have about .060 gap at plunger of switch to be sure it cannot hang up “on” ; when that is right,  push on the E clip,  on switch side of the hole in the bracket ; it is good to put a dot of epoxy to be sure it cannot slip .

After whole switch and knobs are in the car, use a small dot of weatherstrip adhesive (rubber cement) to keep the button from falling off, keep amount very small so you can pull off if ever needed to do so.

Kit is 35 $, plus ship. . Contact Keith above.

Thanks, John
