Are there not baffles installed under the floor just above the mufflers??

Hello group, Happy Fathers Day to those.

 

my non AC 300 stick bleeds heat from engine and exhaust, thru the floor boards.

 

Today We cruised the Interstate for a shakedown.  Although the ambient temp was in lower 90's, the heat from engine compt.

 

was pretty unbearable.  The motor runs warm, no problems.

 

The floor boards are hot.

 

Any solutions to insulating the cabin for summer cruising?

 

There is padding available designed to insulate and reduce heat.
