Re: [Chrysler300] Group 27 AGM Battery

Hi Dave,

I encountered the same situation.

The Willard side is glued on. Peel it off. Save the caps. Get a NAPA Group 27 battery. Peel off their decals. It will be a black brick. Glue your Willard side on. Take off the 2caps that cover the holes. Carefully file the threads until each cap screws in tight.

New Concours ready battery.

Best to you & your wife.

To All,

My Gp 27 Willard case battery from Antique Auto Battery just died,  age 3 years, 3 months.  Not cost

effective to return for 4-year pro-ration, so ordered a new one, Willard case still available.  Price is now

$300 plus shipping with a 4-5 week lead time.  What price authenticity, another sole source supplier.

Thought the car would be down for the rest of the summer, but threw in an old (2005) Motorcraft I had

lying around and all is good temporarily.
