How did cam “go bad “? Usually jammed in its bearing — I think because nylon swells. Too tight a fit , spring cannot move it ? Then it sticks in non park position , so no park . It must be free to flip back and forth . Excellent point switch housing on dash MUST be grounded . Do not try it with switch hanging on wires. Does not work and you hurt it .. Wondering what happened

On occasion, Mopar wiper motors don't park because the 'ground' to the switch has been lost.  Perhaps put a jumper from a good ground to the switch before taking all that stuff off the car.

     I'm looking for a variable speed wiper motor for my 62 300.  Actually, mine still works but won't park.  So all I really need is the plastic park cam. If someone has a bad wiper motor that might have a good park cam in it, that would be perfect.
