Thanks guys. So it sounds like the concensus is that any RHD letter car is actually a conversion. This makes the most sense to me as the cars were built in such low numbers to begin with, that going to the trouble to design and build RHD versions for the tiny number (say 5 or 10 max) for possible sale to those countries would not be worth their while.

I Seem to remember someone (years back) mentioned that 'Down Under'
they had to modify american cars to right hand if they wanted to ever
drive them legally.

Mention was made of some folks going thru the tribulations of converting
a car, and maybe even of a 'cottage industry' of conversion services
