A member from OZ can jump in here with the latest info.
This may have changed in the last few years, but ANY car driven on OZ's roads HAD to be right hand drive. In fact, you could not regester it until it was done. I think you had to sign documents that you would not drive it.
There are quite a few shops that provide this service They literally cut the dash up in pieces and weld them back to move the gauges to the right side. And, since the big three make export cars, there are many steering components available for the conversion. I imagine that a special order car could have been built...

Does anyone have any figures as to how many letter cars were built as right hand drive? 
On the Forward Look Facebook page there is currently a photo of a right hand drive F in Australia. This is the first I have heard of a RHD letter car.
