Re: [Chrysler300] Integrated LED dash light unit?

Hi,
Might work in directional but LED takes so little power lights will not dim with rheostat.
Remove the offending  socket and bend or move the contact pins to project slightly more for tighter fit, and put silicone grease on to ward off corrosion .
Personally — on both 67 dart and 78 truck with PC Card dash , the big round plug pins from harness often Get loose in PC Card causing many issues . Kind of clinched like a rivet at end of pin , but pc material in between squeezed part shrinks , gets loose . You can fix by shining pin and trace in place with razor knife tip till shiny and then solder . Did that twice , no more intermittent stuff   .
Good luck , John

Keith,
Look for #158 LED Bulbs on Amazon. That's where I bought mine and put them in the dash of my 1965 Barracuda.

Folks

I’m told that there’s an integrated bulb/socket that can be used to replace the 158 bulb and the small twist-in socket that’s used in Mopars that have the printed circuit board dash in cars like the 300K.

Does anyone have any info like a part # and source? One of the directional signal indicator lights in the dash isn’t working and I’m thinking it’s the socket since a new bulb doesn’t fix the issue. I don’t have another one of those 1/8th turn plug in sockets so was thinking of going to LED one piece arrangement to replace the two parts.

Thanks in advance,

Keith
