Re: {Chrysler 300} 300 G

I’ve thought about Diamondbacks but, unless I can’t read the chart, they don’t have a 14” rim (on the F (8/14) and H (7.6/14) that’s tall enough for what I need.  Any comments?  I do need to change the H tires soon.  G was 15”.  I can’t seem to find a 14” with a modestly wider profile that is tall enough to match the spec on the 14”.  So I’ve been a bit stuck with the Coker brand when considiering radials.

I could not agree MORE. I just removed a set of Cokers and replaced them with Diamond Back Auburn series tires which made an incredible difference and used (interestingly) about 1/4 the amount of wheel weights to BALANCE - here I thought it was the rims. NOPE! So that to me says it all!!!!

You may pay more but you get what you pay for - sometimes

The Cokers now serve as cushion between the wall and my car.

Maybe 10-15 years ago I bought a set of Cokers for my G.  Three of the five disassembled while on the road
over the first two years of use - less than 100 miles.  Coker refused to do anything about it, and that was the
end of my Coker dealings.  I understand that they later acknowledged a problem with the 15" tires but that
was a couple of years after my experience.

For a number of years, I've heard from many people that Coker branded radial
tires were junk. Hard to balance. Failures after a few thousand miles due to
belt separation. Other problems. Coker does sell a line of tires called
American Classics which are very good. I have them on two of my cars and
have been very happy with them. You may be able to get American Classics
from other distributors as well.
