That is really sad. He helped me so many times (and very fairly ) with C and D convert parts over many years , including a rolling C frame .

I bought his unfinished 300D , Indian Turquoise convert  a few years back when he found he could not work on it anymore . 

A super good kind guy . 

I will miss him ..

I recall a conversation with George, I said you are younger than I am, (I was in my mid 60’s), he said I bet not, he said he was in his early 80’s. He did not even look 60. That was over 10 years ago. He would have been in his mid 90’s.

He had a long life.
