{Chrysler 300} Re: 300-F Shock Absorber Options

One other note - A-1 Shock company has both gas, gas heavy duty and hydraulic style shocks.  Claim the hydraulic offer original softer and smoother ride - any truth to that?

Looking at shock absorber options for my 300-F.  Have read the website articles on using the KYB shocks - which require some modifications to work.  What I haven't seen is why club members like the KYB shocks so well.  Are they superior to other offerings?  Better ride?  Look closer to original equipment?

I've noted sources for shocks from following:
  • Andy Bernbaum

  • A-1 Shock Absorber Company (sounds like a place Wile e Coyote would shop)

  • NAPA

  • Rock Auto - bunch of different brands.

Anybody have any experiance with either Andy Bernbaum or A-1 shock offerings?

Thanks
