Gary, true recent story:

My mechanic was able to adjust the gearbox screw (top of gear box, but below engine header on my 65) and 3/4 of the play in my steering is gone. He said a mechanic needs to know what to do or they can screw it up. I was aided by my engine out for a rebuild. Think about this before throwing money.

In searching for tie rod ends, there seems to be a difference for the tie rod ends based on which engine was originally optioned, which in my case would be a 413, can someone also confirm this? I found one source on ebay that has them listed for the 383, but not for the 413.
