{Chrysler 300} 1962 300-H Pass Exh. Manifold

Questions about the factory high performance passenger side exhaust manifold….

I think the part # for the super rare passenger side exhaust manifold is 2268-250.
It has that raised port on the top of the rear section.
It is where the rear carburetors choke heat tube exits & travels up to the choke.

Questions (since it seems impossible to locate these manifolds):
- Does the manifold port supply nothing more than heat? (Not an open hole in the manifold, right?  No exhaust gasses pass through here; right?)
- Is it possible to take a non-high performance exhaust manifold & create / weld this port on top of one?  (I know; crazy, right?  But what else does one do?)

Thanks
Matt Allyn
