{Chrysler 300} 64 lower trim clips and sealing caulk

I have misplaced the five lower trim clips for the windshield lower molding. These were used years 60-64 it appears. Does anyone have five they can part with? Not finding them available new.

 

The factory obviously misplaced the body caulk on my car, missing the slots completely! The manual calls for these slots to be sealed.

My question here is, the caulk I found at the top and bottom corners of the windshield gasket. Can anyone recall if this was placed in the same way on you cars originally, or could this be a later attempt to seal up a leak? Seems that it would be more of a water dam than a sealing benefit.
