RE: {Chrysler 300} '56 300B Reverse Lights Not Working

I knew an original owner of a C300 that was a C-P dealer in Grand Island NE. He swears he tried to order his C300 with back-up lights and the factory refused. He insisted over and over and swears he got a letter from them that said “a 300 backs up for no-one”. He could never produce a copy even though he promised me one. Too funny to be true?

Hello Everyone,

I'm trying to troubleshoot a reverse light problem. I've gone through the wires, replaced the bulbs and visually confirmed the reverse light switch on the 5-button TorqueFlite push-button assembly is mechanically working. All other lights are working properly. Any suggestions for what else to check?

Before purchasing a new reverse lamp switch, I wanted to make sure I'm not missing any tricks per say?
