RE: {Chrysler 300} Fuel Sending Unit - Pickup

I am not worried about the return in the engine bay. A welded "T" with a bleed hole works fine.

What I want to avoid is cutting a hole in the tank.

So, I am thinking of placing the hole in the plate that holds the fuel sender and the fuel pick up.

Since I do not have a spare, If anyone has one out and post a photo of the back side so I can see if there is any room back there, I would appreciate it.

James

You can buy an inline fuel filter that has an extra hose nipple on the discharge for the purpose of connecting a line to return some fuel to the fuel tank. The one that I have has a restrictive orifice in the discharge nipple so the return flow does not reduce the fuel pressure too much.
