A couple of years back I used my neighbor's ultrasonic cleaner, was amazed how nice chrome plated castings came out. Minor pits and stars disappeared only nearly invisible flecks. I have now purchased my own smaller unit. It's a little hard on aluminum so be

What is the trick to remove the bulb socket from the chrome bezel?  If one wanted to re-chrome one of the indicator bezels, you have to remove the wiring and the bulb socket, correct?  So how do you remove the bulb socket?
