That resistor is usually located in the engine bay area, mounted to the cowl, not inside the car.

Subject: {Chrysler 300} Hi/Low Speed Blower Motor Question

I am wrapping up a long-term dash restoration project and am working through verification of all components.  I have a question concerning the "resistor" depicted in Fig. 3 of the Air Conditioning section of the 1962 Service manual -- I've attached a picture.  The resistor serves as a means to regulate blower speed - either Low/High - by either pulling/pushing the knob on the temperature control lever.  Unfortunately, the resistor is MIA and was likely lost to time.  Does anyone know the specs on the resistor and where it would be placed once installed?

I appreciate any/all help!

Thanks,

Kurt
