1965 is a one year only style transmission in C bodies.  All column or console shift via cables, no push buttons at all.

I have a trans that is an EARLY 1965 spare. Rail number  F2466112 1587547 which should mean Flint Wednesday December 1^st 1965.

 

This in the MPB shows as an early 1965 383-413 with 4-BBL.

 

It is a flange not a yoke type. I understand they did a mod-year change from flange to yoke.

 

I would like to know if it was a console versus a push button without having to open it up.
