“Stealth” and I will be attending the Hershey Meet.

Someone has made a package offer for my Classic Car garage and 300-F convertible.

Before I give serious thought to the offer, I would like to explore seeing the car ownership stay within the Club.

Attached is some information about our over 40 year history together (Stealth Brute.pdf including hot links to Club tech pages and articles relating to upgrades to Stealth). The car has been restored to go, stop & show.

Engine:

A new 440 Mopar engine block (bored 0.060” over & stroked for a total of 541 cu. In.), utilizing the original long cross rams, 1964 300-K exhaust headers and a full 3” exhaust with “X” pipe.

The engine was built by Ray Barton Racing Engines.

On their Dyno the engine developed the same 375 HP, as the original 413 cross ram engine, but reached that HP at 3100 rpm rather than 5000 rpm. It also developed 610 lb/ft of torque at 2900 rpm much more than the original 495 lb/ft of torque at 3600 rpm.

The ram wells under the carburetors are water cooled like the 300-F Gran Turismo engines.

The combination of cross ram induction with overdrive transmission allows the car to cruise at very high speeds at under 3000 rpms.

Transmission:

Converted to Torqueflite Overdrive A518 (46RH)

Rear:

Converted to 8 3/4 Positraction
