This could also be a oil recomendation. This block cleaned at .0025 and 177K miles. Only oil used was Phillips 66 Trop-Arctic 10 W 30.

Is there a Casting Date and/or a Engine Build Date on the 1957 392 cu in motors? I know the engine number is stamped in front of the valley cover, but does the block have a Casting Date or Build Date also on it?
