Re: {Chrysler 300} 300B wire harness recommendations

When I restored my 57C, there was a club member who was doing an excellent job with reproducing the wiring harnesses for that year, but I don't think he is still making them anymore.  Can't remember the name as it was around 20 years ago.  Man, is time ever flying by.  I used the Rhode Island outfit in the 90's when I did my 55 C-300, and it worked fine.  Both cars were being completely taken apart, so it was easy to do the dash wiring with the dashes out of the cars.  I don't really want to even think about having to do the G convertible underdash wiring harness, or the harness for my Hurst, especially if trying to do them with the dash still in the car and an old man's eyesight and dexterity.  Yikes!

I have not used these folks in the past, but I did keep their website in my bookmarks. They say they can restore or reman ones original harness.

Subject: {Chrysler 300} 300B wire harness recommendations

Hi Club,

There has been a rash of wiring related fires in the classic car circles that I associate with, so I figure it's time to stop tempting fate.

I found a few recos in the ForwardLook discussion forums, but I can't seem to figure out how to search the 300 listserver archives.  The two outfits I've found so far are:

YnZ's Yesterday's Parts

Rhode Island Wiring Service Inc.

Does anyone have first hand experience with either of these vendors, or are there other recommendations?  I do not have a "show" car, but I'd like something that is plug-n-play (mostly) and something that looks more/less original (cloth covers).  Please let me know!
