Hi all:

I have never ridden in the Los Angeles car but I had the pleasure of driving my 1966 300 Vert., along with the Imperial, in a Japanese festival parade in Little Tokyo sometime in the late 80's or early 90's. Prior to the start of the parade, the cars were parked side-by-side and the Imperial was next to my 300 and I had a good look-see of the Imperial. In the parade, I was the next car behind the Imperial. I had 5 squaking Japanese ladies sitting over the top well. Good thing they were elderly and petite or I might have had to repair the rear seat back.

First, I realize this is not a Letter Car topic, but I do have some background on these Parade Cars built by Chrysler. The car in the movie was and is the Los Angeles car and not the one at the Petersen Museum. I've been in both examples and had a personal encounter with the LA example.
