I did this on many 57-58 and 60 , but never 55-56 , but they look the same Rain came in, it rusted the little coil springs.or good luck with a new one .Bob Merritt had found a repro Chevy one (~59?) very similar , I bought a few , I think can be fitted with some work but look slightly different .
