Don - One thing else I found when I switched to Mobil 1, was oil leaks 
developing around intake and valve cover gaskets.  I was told the syn oil will seep 
through sealing areas where mineral oil will not.  I believe synthetic is a 
better oil, but can't afford to change it every 2500 mi.  My 2 cents...Joe
