I think you mean you must have the thrust blocks, not the pins? Regards,

If you have axels that are long, you must have the pins, or green
bearings. This is a 12.00 Mopar part...

You don't need the pin. Mine is working fine without it. It just holds
the buttons in. The only what I know of to get one is with the buttons
and its probably NS-1 by now.
