Find out what the local hot rodders use on their cars. I know some 
around here have used the wiper motors from SUV/ mini-van rear windows
to get their rod legal for the road. (And some are variable speed with a 
park mechanism.)  This is primarily the pre-war crowd that run only one 
wiper arm, but who knows what you will find.
