Earl,
It has been so long that I can't remember the exact cost. I do know that it was not expensive. No billet ends are necessary, but you might want to use the "green" bearings to eliminate the adjuster, and if you have a lot of horsepower, great traction, and a manual trans or transbrake, a backbrace might be justified. The Moser folks are very helpful. Give 'em a call.
John

John,

That was going to be my next option. How much did Moser charge you to
shorten the axle? I am
sure you most likely put billet ends and all that stuff on it?

Earl

Earl,
Before I changed to a Dana in my race Cuda, I had a "C" body 8 3/4
housing shortened by Moser. It was actually cheaper than trying to buy a
"A" body housing, I got the big brakes and bolt pattern in addition. If
this is a street only car, they can shorten the stock axles and respline
them. Hope this helps. John
