I had the Carter street/strip pump on my motor when I first fired it up.  The 
pump arm broke in two after about 30 minutes of run time.
After several calls to Jeg's, (where I purchased it), they gave me Carter's  
phone number. After talking to a tech rep there, I had to send the pump to 
them  to see if I did something wrong. (How can you install a pump wrong?) Anyway 
I  got the pump replaced by Carter after waiting several weeks.
So far, the new one has worked just fine. I am a little gun shy though  after 
that trouble and don't want to drive to far from home with it yet until I  
get to feel more secure with it.
