Most of Milodon's increased capacity pans are all based on the same upper half. The sumps are different. The 31010 has the correct upper part for reference (it is NOT based on the 187 pan). However, the 31010 is the straight dump sump pan that in my car sat only 3.5" off the ground. That is NOT enough for a street-driven car, trust me. It also required a K-member clearance notch and shimming to raise the drag link on my '65. I didn't try the "shallow box" sump pan (I think this is the circle track version) but it would seem to me that it also would require the usual mods to fit. It's quite wide so I don't know if you'd run into trouble there or not. If you use it, please report how it fits because I'm curious.
