RE: pilot bushing dos and donts

If it don't have that bushing hole in the crank brewers makes a large bushing adapter to fit were the torque converter center go's. You have to shorten the input shaft nose on the trans to work properly.

Subject: pilot bushing dos and donts

how can one tell if a 440 crank is machined for a pilot bushing ? And  if it is not, would it require disassembling the engine to do so?
