I've got a pr. of the ramcharger 15x8 steelies w/ 41/2" backspace w/ the 70 b body housing. I have room to go to 295's on the rear.

FWIW, I have a '68 dana under the 64 Dodge.Wheels are 15" custom 
steelies with 4.5" of bs.Springs are relo'd with Dr. Diff kit.I have 
295/65 drag radial tires.Wheels could've taken another 1/2" of bs.I may 
get another pair made.I don't see why the same fitment wouldn't work in 
you case.Research the width of an 8 3/4 and Dana rear.Subtract the 
difference and go from there.

I haven't tried to put these tires on the 64 Savoy to check the fitment.
