I'm going to throw my 2c in:
1. no
2. IIRC the only factory aux cooler was used on some of the later Hemi cars 
or was that an oil cooler.  Can't remember
3. yes, plumb the line from the pump to the radiator coolor then to the aux 
cooler then back to the transmission.  IIRC the line closest to the front of 
the trans is the one u want to leave in the stock position to the radiator.
4. sometimes lol
