2. if the engine doesn't want to die when you turn the  
   mixture screw in, then the butterflies need to be
   adjusted equally until a mixture screw has the  
   ability to kill the motor.
<This explains a few things, like when I turn the screws all the way in it runs even faster>

there is a diaphram in the acc. pump, make sure it
is not torn. there is also a little red rubber "mushroom
valve" or check ball, depending on model, in the  
acc. pump area of the bowl that needs to be in
place.  
The secondary diaphram must also be checked
for tears.
