hiya , one thing i learned in bleeding brakes is never go all the way to 
floor with pedal if master cylinder is old. you will go to a bad area that has not 
been used in years , it will ruin the piston in master cylinder. i started 
putting a block under pedal and stay in the travel area that is not rusty , 
pitted , you know . 
  ok , just a thought , good luck . 
  note , pump peddle up and hold it , i bet it will creep down on ya
