For those contemplating a Old Reliable type engine and for those wondering about the benifits of converter choice i recieved a very interesting email from a former reader when i first wrote the series for Chrysler Power. Even though the letter is many years later it is very interesting. I will put it in a saved form and if anyone wants it Email me. .
Basically in a 3100+car with the Old Reliable combo and 391 gears he ran 10.49 at 126 mph. What is interesting is how he got there fighting the converter and gear choice recoomended all the way.

Was at the paint shop yesterday. Car is in hi build and awaitng the final block sanding.
Does any one have any of the little gold V emblems that came on the Canadian V8 63 Dodge and Plymouth? Mine didnt survive removal.
