I met a guy at the Nats 2 years ago that towed his 68 Charger from
Wisconsin to Ohio with a 98 4-wd Dakota with 318 5-spd. Said it towed
great. I've had 2 Dakotas, sold the 96 with 333,000 miles still going
strong, and my daily driver is a 99 R/T, but I've only towed bikes with
the R/T. PLENTY of power, and like the man said, if you have electric
trailer brakes, they do most of the work, anyway.
