was the radiator where mice could get into it? I had a radiator get plugged up from a hidden mouse nest, not only did it over head, but it blew the seal around the top of the radiator, you could always try flushing it with a hose... the trannys do work better with one of those separate coolers.

I've got a 64' Sports Fury with the 383 and a 727 auto tranny that has  
recently been restored/rebuilt.  Everything works great but the motor keeps  
overheating.  I've have changed the termostat and coolant but it still  
overheats.  Does anyone know why it keeps overheating on me or a way to keep  
it cool.  I have heard that the tranny is cooled by the radiator and this  
may be the cause?   Any suggestions would be greatly appersiated
