MY previous job was for a die casting foundry. We made alot of aluminum
axle tubes for Diamler Chrysler/Dana Spicer

One tube we made was called the KJ tube. This was supposed to go into a
pick up truck. Is Jeep making a pick up again? I dont see one out yet.

Cummins makes a 4 cylinder diesel similiar to the 5.9 truck motor. I
think its an industrial unit. Might be a wee bit heavy for a small
pickup. Then again, every see the spring pack under the front of a Dodge
cummins?

I am interested in building a veggie/diesel truck. This would be pretty
cool, but getting oil on longer trips might be a problem. Still it would
be beneficial for a lot of driving.

I was considering converting my Coronet to run alcohol. The local co-op
has E85 (85% ethanol) But even the price of that has gone up alot. Its
volumetric effeciency isnt all that great, but the octane is over 100.
