Hey Don, this is just a lesson in fantasy, but I were to get a much modified honest to God Maxwede crossram, with removable top. Would it be posssible ( in your opinion), to find a small Canadian foundry to cast these guys in a two piece version. At a some what more reasonable price?
I know that you are the closest person I've known to be truely versatile, (Man from LaMancha?) in the art of making your own.
Guten Tag

Lieber Hench
I was told the same thing by Edelbrock. After the Wiend Six pack came out for the super stock cudas they stopped production because it would outperform theirs. Decent people these edelbock guys. Honest and committed to quality. It wasnt an easy decision I think but they did it anyway.
BTW I still have the pattern I made for that wiend bottom with the two four top.
I believe that design is the best manifold ever produced for the RB engines. Too bad Holley who now owns Wiend didnt "get it"
Pictures of it under construction and even the wooden trest piece are on my website under 2X4 for any who are interested. There is a link from our list website to mine.
