 Bill,

Yes you can. I do know quite a few guys running in the 11's using
a 741 with no problems.

Earl

Folks,
I have a question on a 8 3/4 rear end. I have a '741' 8 3/4 rear end with
sure grip. I'd like to replace the 741 with a 742 because I'm hooking it up
to a 440. Can I take the sure grip out of the 741 and put it into an
originally open 742 carrier?
Thanks for your help,
Bill B.
