A friend installed a Dakota truck style small starter on my 440, it was a
direct
bolt-in, if memory serves.

Another buddy has his 440 on stand right now, was getting ready to install a
MP small starter, P/N P5249644AB, but it looks like the hot lead will not
physically clear the block.

We eyeballed my installed Dakota-type starter, but is a bit hard to see
everything due to 2" header tubes......is the MP starter bigger, or wiring posts
different locations?
