RE: compression test on 318



If you can't find anything obviously wrong Paul, squirt some Marvel 
Mystery Oil in each cylinder and let it sit for a week. I have used this 
stuff on several engines with low or no cpmpression and after a few 
applications the compression came up. I used it on a 4 cylinder Suzuki a 
few years ago, squirting a little in each cylinder every couple weeks 
during the winter...engine had 0 compression in 2 cylinders and 50 lbs 
in the other 2. By spring, all 4 had 135 lbs. and I was able to get the 
bike running. I SWEAR by this stuff!
