RE: Mopar Red Vinyl Paint colors

Thank you Verna (same name as one of my nieces btw). Good stuff and I will
be following up on your information. My console has two different colors of
red as do some of the other vinyl interior parts, will be very satisfying to
get everything consistentt. /Butch

Here in Canada we use SEM vinyl dye. We get it at Auto body supply shops and
it covers any color extremely well. we have dyed black seats white with one
coat no problem. According to my PPG Ditzler catalogue the red used on the
64 Plymouths was called Majestic Red and was gloss, satin, or what they
called velvet depending on what was painted, as in trim, dash, seats etc.
Different flattening agents are used to get the desired results.

I'd like to use some vinyl paint on a some parts of my 64 Plymouth Sport
Fury. Is there such a thing as a Mopar Red that I should be looking for?
Thanks/ Butch Edison/ Ferndale, WA

Mopar...if you have to ask, you'll never understand.
