paint code

Maybe this isnt the problem but I couldnt get my aint code to work. Bill from BC gave me a heads up . My car is Canadian production. Easliy dostinguised by the ALUMINUM vin tag as opposed to stamped steel. Bill told me it was a CIL paint number and it was. I kept getting aqua blue when i asked but the same code in CIL was Antique Buff. (aka as ice cream white by me). CIL is Canadian Industres Limited and were a major paint manufactuer as well as some real fine Ammo (and Mossburg Rifles and Shotguns) and of course last but not least DYNO-MITE! Canadian paint code were similar but not the same colour as some US codes. before you jump up and say my car is not Canadian let me assure you that your mini vanand you Intrepid Eagle and LHS are. Look at the vi tag. If it is rounded corners and made of aluminum then it is Canadian production for our 62 to 65 cars (Although we have no 65 B bodies only C) So it cold be a CIL code. My wife bless her Pea Picken heart had an even better idea. She bought a original dealer broucher from a vendor at Carlise and told me to take it do the paint supplier and get the red matched for the stripe.
I hate to admit it but it was a perfect idea and worked well. (How do they do that? ;>\) )
