Re: reground cams

Yes, quality reground cams are fine with Polys because of the adjustable valve train.
Your cam specs are good for a stock 2bbl. Poly 318 engine.
A good 4bbl. performance grind would be around 220-224 @ .050 and around 260-280 advertised duration and .450-.480" lift.

Let me know if I can help you with any specific cam grind information or other Poly data.
Please e-mail me off-list.

Anyone online have good results with
reground cams ?

I had one from my 318 poly done supposedly
to a rec. grind , i thought they build up and then
grind to lift and duration but apparently not ,just
take it off the back.

how does this sound .
intake duration 208 degrees , lift .280 -valve lift .420 lash .013
exhaust duration 208 degrees , lift .280 -valve lift .420 lash .018

i am not sure what the stock figures were.
any feedback would sure be appreciated .

Thanks Serle
