Re: Big Block Cradle

made my cart from bed rail "L" rails (hard steel) and a 19" rack
computer surplus tray. I get casters from "Big Lots" for $2 or $3
a piece.. I have one that bolts to the mount ears up front and one
that bolts to the lower bellhousing bolts in the rear. supports
a fully assembled B/RB and can rolled around. all mig welded up.

another cart I have is a just a flat rolling shelf with the
same Big Lots casters,, it holds two bare blocks standing
upright so I can roll them under a shelf in the garage.
I run a 12" chain between the two blocks so the block won't
try to move when I'm rolling them around. the shelf is more or
less a "deck" made outta 2x8"s and some strong
pallet wood. another cart I have holds 4 833s and rolls under a shelf
too.,, thats a pallet with casters (big lots..). the pallets I
use are what the 500-600 pound computers are shipped to my office on.
next cart will be a 8-3/4" chuck cart to load up 4 or so and roll
under a shelf too...
