Jim,

I believe that's the big spring around the outside?  I was told its a
balancer/antirattle spring, and its not necessary (since the 10" drums
I got for my rear in SBP don't have them).

BTW anyone want some SBP 10" drums?  I'm upgrading to 4.5" bolt
pattern and don't need them anymore.
