RE: 3 on the Tree to Floor Shifter

Thanks to all for the response.
Sounds like there were A bodies with 3 and/or 4 speed manual floor
shifted behind /6 motors, but for B bodies which I have there were 3 and
4 speed manual floor shifted cars, but not behind /6.
I guess I am wondering if I got a A833 trans with the correct bell
housing for my /6 would the shifter sit in the same location as the same
A833 behind a big block engine?
If I put in the shifter hump I dont want to move it later, and I
rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrealy want to get rid of the column shift and dont
have the money to build the big block that I really want at this time so
a floor shifter behind the /6 with be semi cool for now.
