RE: Can a /6 Have a Good Sound?



I had ask this question before but I dont remember if anyone could 
answer it with certainty. 
I believe the shifter actually mounts to the transmission and does that 
mean when I install the shifter hump in the floor it would be in the 
same location as if you were installing the hump for a big block 4speed 
set up? 
I wouldnt want to do this for my /6 3speed setup and have to modify the 
shifter hump location for a later down the road big block/4 speed setup.
