Donny,

The same thing happened on my 64 Savoy. It was really a simple fix.

Get a longer bolt with the same thread, and run the nut on it by several 
threads. The nut will have the points where is WAS welded to the hood on it and 
will fit back where it's supposed to. Pull the nut and bolt tight, and tack it 
back in place, take the bolt out and weld it good, then grind it smooth. Sand 
it down, prime and repaint.

Think the whole operation took me about 45 minutes.
